I had this temp engine fault red light on, so I checked under the hood. No sign of leak anywhere and water level is good. What would be the problem?. And how can I reset it.

This is the Engine coolant over-temperature warning.
When its showing fixed red, Citroen say:
and the course of action isThe temperature of the cooling system is too high.
There is either a problem with the cooling system, for example; a low level of coolant or poor circulation of the coolant, or a problem with sensing the temperature of the cooling system due to the temperature sensor.Stop as soon as it is safe to do so.
Wait until the engine has cooled down before topping up the level, if necessary.
If the problem persists, contact a CITROËN dealer or qualified workshop.
The light will reset itself when the system cools to below the threshold for the red warning or if the sensor is faulty, it may stay red even when the engine is cool.

No problem. It would be good to hear how you get on at the workshop and what the problem turns out to be.spaceone299 wrote:Thank you very much for your help. I will try to take the car to workshop.

Hello spaceone299, I am trying to learn more about the cooling temperature sensor/sensors. Would be nice if you could write just a notice which fault were found - thanks very much,
