Thought I would combine this into one post.
Transmission
When shifting from Park to Reverse on any slope, there is a very rough shudder. I have the brake depressed. Any ideas?
Airbag
Whenever I go over any bump or rough road both the airbag warning and child seat icon lights come on. I suspect the connector under the driver's seat. I have read about similar issues on the forum before. The connector is securely attached, but I was wondering if I should bypass it and solder the wires together?
Central Locking
Often the car will not unlock/lock unless directly beside the vehicle. Have checked the battery in the key, which is OK. Sometimes the remote works well from a distance, but often it does not! Any ideas? Is the receiver for the remote incorporated into the COMM2000 unit? I read about BSI deep sleep mode, but when the problem occurs the car will unlock via the fob, but only from a few cms away.
Lexia Key Programming
I am looking at sourcing a replacement key for the car. If I purchase a virgin chip such as this am I able to program it using the Lexia platform?
Temperature gauge
I know this issue has been canvassed before, but I am pretty certain the sensor that supplies data to the gauge is faulty, as it goes from 3-6 bars consistently. Where is this sensor located and would you be able to tell me which one of these would be the correct one to replace?
Sorry about the long post.

For this, much more information is needed about the year and engine size, an the engine type would narrow things down a bitTemperature gauge

this one covers C3 2002-2009 1.4 8V (engine type TU3JP) - petrol, but if you have a different engine with 16 valves, this many not fit.
this one is for 16v engines of the petrol variety, 1.4 and 1.6, but there are some it doesn't fit depending on the chassis number / VIN.
The sensor for the temperature gauge is the one on the cylinder head, not far from the dipstick. Its worth checking the colour and number of pins on the one fitted to your car because Citroen did fit several different sensors over the years.
The other sensor is on the plastic moulding that is the coolant outlet in a much lower down position and feeds the ECU with data. You are not looking for this one.
