My wife's C3 1.4 16V Petrol Sensodrive has this strange problem that the service mileage is dropping far quicker than the miles she has done. It dropped a couple of thousand one week when only 50 miles was done max over that week. Last week it said there were 500 serive miles left & it has dropped to 150 miles when only 10 miles have been done. I believe it has only done around 5000 miles since the last service when I reset the service indicator.
I don't know whether this is connected but when I read fault codes back with a Lexia 3 it has historical faults which relate to the mileage the car hasn't even done yet (even converting from KM to miles it doesn't add up!)
Any ideas good people?

It is possible for there to be a misconfiguration with the KM and Miles and you get a funny reading on the mileometer.zebedee2001 wrote:Hi,

What year is your wifes C3? I know the older ones are pegged at miles and BSI looks at engine revolutions but later ones may get a bit more into the type of driving. That would be something I will need to look into.

Oldie then. I didn't think they took any notice of the gear or short journeys for the maintenance indicator so its strange they don't tally up.zebedee2001 wrote:It's a 2004 model & had 8 owners!
