Hi guys,
We recently bought a Citroen C3 1.4 Petrol Automatic as 'spare or repair' as my hubby is a mechanic.
We replaced the fan and windscreen, the only problem is its in 'limp mode' we have bought a new set of injectors in the hope that works (the old ones were all corroded)
We have yet to recieve and replave the injectors but IF they do work, were worried as the weather the car being in 'limp mode' had blown the ECU.
Has anyone else had a similar problem/experience?
Thank you in advance.
Frances.

Welcome to the forum frankiiei2013,

The limp mode is designed to protect the car, I have never seen limp mode damaging an ECU. The thing that damages the ECU is jump starting the car.

Best man for the job then! :D

If you are still having problems after the injector change, I recommend the Lexia Tool (info here) to read the fault codes and do the diagnostics the car may require.

Good Luck with your project!
