replace porous sump that leaks oil

Hi all, Thanks in advance for any help

2005 C3 Pluriel 1.4 petrol.

My daughter loves the car and I have to say i think it drives great also.

I have noticed oil under the car, and when I looked it appears to be coming from the sump. I wiped it down but think the sump is porous and needs changing.

so 2 things if you can help

1. is it a case of second hand only or is there any special cheap good place for a sump?

2. can I remove the sump in place (please tell me yes) and is there anything I should know in advance?

Hi jimbo81, its a straight forward job as you may expect, remove the exhaust down pipe to fully remove the sump.
