Just now, the fan starts to fall off the motor LOL. Before things get worst, I'm planning to sell the car instead. Its my first car and had it for a year and taught me lot of stuffs.
Its good you have learnt from your car, selling it sounds like a good idea :)

Thanks for having me here. Cheers!
You are very welcome revridges, thank you for dropping by.

You may even buy another C3?

Citroen is a reliable car especially the engine which is too strong for a small car like C3. But in Saudi Arabia, most of the people prefers Japanese made cars due to its air conditioning reliability.

There were quite a number of Citroen here but only the natives are capable to have them due to its spare parts cost. I had my C3 'coz i was looking for a small car to practice driving, i'm just a new newbie  .

Anyway, it was been a good journey to have the C3 with me. For the meantime, I had to fix the fan power supply connection first. I want to directly connect it on the ignition starter so when the car starts and so the fan too.

Does anyone knows where i can find (image) the ignition starter cable so I can hook up the fan power supply?

Cheers!

Trouble is the fan draws quite a large amount of current. SO just tapping off any ignition wire is going to start popping fuses or melting wires.

You should run the fan off a relay, so the power is taken from the battery and the fan control can be taken from a low power ignition wire. This is more complicated, but the right way to do it.

Thanks for the head-up C3CAR, great advise mate. Cheers!

@alsie, to have a better access of the valve body (image below), we decided to pull off the fan.
To reach for the valve body you have to unscrew the transmission ECU which is just in front of the.

Speak to the last owner to see what they changed?

To be honest, it sounds like you have a fault and it needs to go in for diagnostic tests to determine the reason and find a cost of the work required to rectify it.

If you wanted to try for yourself, a cheap OBD tool from amazon (click here) can read codes and maybe give some guidance on where to look for the fault.
