My automatic C3 Exclusive (60 plate) radiator cooling fan comes on even when the engine is cold and before the engine is turning. It also stays on when the ignition is switched off for up to 10 minutes. Can anybody help please?

Its probably a faulty temperature sensor in the engine but it could be a poor connection to the sensor.
