Few problems i have with a 2003 1.4 petrol, main problem is that the power steering is working one day and not the next. Currently it is not working most of the time and then all of a sudden it starts working, even in the middle of driving.

Next problem is it has trouble starting about 60% of the time. Try to start it up and the engine starts to turn over but this just continues and it just isnt starting up. Take out the key and try again and then it starts up perfect. (hasn't been serviced in a while)

Rev counter has occasionally just died so must have a loose connection.
Also have an airbag light on,passenger airbag light on and engine management light on.

I must try and get a diagnostics done on it but any insight to a problem would be great, thanks

Hi kev250, with so many faults and not all engine related I suggest you get the car connected to lexia and start going through all the faults.

Lexia is a dealer type of tool but much cheaper than dealer prices for diagnostic reads. The lexia topic is here which can give you some pointers. You can buy a lexia tool here to make a start diagnosing.

The faults you mentioned don't seem to me to be a common link, so expect a couple of faults....
