Hi, Can somebody please help.
I have a 2004 citroen c3 pluriel auto 1.6 (with soft top convertible roof)
Okay so I bought the car, roof was knackered so had it replaced with a new one. up until this point car was fine. drove etc,
so the roof went on, went to start car it would not start. it turned over but that was it. checked wiring etc all okay. changed battery still the same.
So i now have a car with a nice nbew roof that i cannot drive, it does not start but turns over, we have tried resettinbg the bsi etc but still the same. We have had a diagnostic computer plugged into it and it came up wityh the following faults:
PO264... PERMANENT FAULT INJECTOR 2 CONTROL SHORT CIRCUIT TO EARTH
PO270... " 4 "
PO261 " 1 "
PO267 " 3 "
PO444... CONSISTER CANISTER PURGE VALVE CIRCUIT
PO141...SENSOR HEATER CIRCUIT REAR
PO135...O2 SENSOR HEATER CIRCUIT FRONT
UOO28...UNDER DOCK CODE
PO133...INTAKE AIR TEMP SENSOR
PO121...THROTTLE ACUTATOR CIRCUIT

Any help would be appreciated

If it was my car, I would get myself access to Lexia or Diagbox from ebay to get a better read of the codes that are missing a description and for the ones with a description, read the suggested testing and fault finding procedure suggested by lexia.h20etj wrote:Hi, Can somebody please help.

Tips of reading codes it to read them fully (description and code), record them (for future reference) and then delete any non permanent codes.
Try to start (it may even start with some codes cleared), and record any new codes generated from a new read with lexia.
Its only these latest and updated codes that are worth spending time diagnosing. Often the description can guide you where to look, sometimes not, other times the lexia system can give you more information on how to proceed.
You need to fault find the faults, for example
Indicates there is a permanent short circuit on an injector or the injector loom or the engine ECU.....P0264... PERMANENT FAULT INJECTOR 2 CONTROL SHORT CIRCUIT TO EARTH

If it was ok before changing the roof, and fitting a roof caused the fault, its probably something to do with the roof? Have you checked all the fuses?h20etj wrote:Okay so I bought the car, roof was knackered so had it replaced with a new one. up until this point car was fine. drove etc,

There is a list of fuse boxes here including the hidden ones, which may have something to do with the roof.
