Hi
I wouldn't bother with the service for only 2000 miles but stretch it on to the next 12000 mile service.
You should check things like tyre pressures yourself, but if you can't do the basics then another small service would put your mind at rest but with so few miles since the last service it isn't money well spent.

I know many cars will have done little mileage over the last year. The issue is, I suppose, those who have warranties to maintain. There have been some changes to mileage between services, a 1.6HDi depending on age will have an interval of 12,500 miles for earlies ones and 16,000 for later ones with the newer turbo lubrication system. but the corresponding time interval has dropped from 2 years to 1 year. So would the warranty company, if there is one, look on a claim if the schedule was not adhered to?
