You have P0132 - O2 Sensor Circuit High Voltage (Bank 1 Sensor 1) , could be due to a short in the wiring to live or faulty sensor, or worst case the ECU

You also have P0138 - O2 Sensor Circuit High Voltage (Bank 1 Sensor 2) , could be due to a short in the wiring to live or faulty sensor, or worst case the ECU

It is unlikely to be both sensors going short to live at the same time, so I wouldn't change the sensors.

A new catalytic converter is quite drastic without a correct diagnosis :o

A common denominator could be the wiring to the sensors if they take the same physical path back the the ECU or, the other common detonator is the engine ECU itself.

I would start by finding out the path the wiring takes for the sensors and inspecting the wiring from each sensor where they are common to the ECU. Then if nothing physical is found, disconnect the ECU and the sensors and test for short circuits on the loom that concern the O2 sensors. This would prove or disprove the loom, then you would be free to diagnose the ECU if necessary.

Unfortunately just the engine ECU won't work because they are coded to the BSI and the BSI is coded to the key.

You either get a non starter with the wrong BSI/ECU combo or no remote central locking from the wrong KEY/BSI combo.

You need all 3 for it to work (and then reprogram the BSI to match your current equipment

The kits are here (on ebay), you just need to find the right combination for you :D

It will if all the other checks have been done and passed, like checking the loom and checking the signal at the sensors.

That is good to know and saves a lot of reprogramming and generally messing around.
