Hi!

I'm Ali and I'm new here! I have a 06 plate C3 which I would like to service and have a few qns. I did a search before posting regarding oil filters but I'm still really confused about the correct part. So I am looking for the correct part numbers for the following:
1. Oil filter
2.Air filter
3.Spark plugs

Also I find the heater takes a fair while to warm up, this even happens at other times of the year. Is it possibly the strength of coolant or the pollen filter?

Any help would be much appreciated! :)

Hi

There is more than one engine option for the C3 so you either need to identify the engine fitted, or much easier, look up the part by reg on This link to Euro Car Parts to get the right parts offered.

You can get a new pollen filter too.

But this or the coolant won't affect the time it takes to warm up. That is probably the thermostat.

The information provided is in respect to the data on your stats, if they are correct!

For the 1.4i 8 valve petrol engine (TU3JP) the recommended spark plug is the Bosch FR7DC+. You could consider the platinum version FR7DPX. The platinum version will give you a slightly better spark and a slightly longer service life.

All of the petrol engine air filters are the same. So the part number will depend on the manufacturer of the filter and where you get the filter from. There are lots of after market manufacturers. Just look up, or ask for, an air filter for a 2006 Citroen C3 with a TU3JP (KFV) engine.

There are two types of oil filters. We will need your VIN to see which oil filter is the correct one for your engine.

To paraphrase Alice Cooper "Welcome to my nightmare" (that is the Citroen C3), LOL!
