Hi,

My Citroen C3 1.3 Petrol 2003 is not staring. The engine turns over but no start.

Fault code showing on OBD reader is P1612. Anyone have any information on this fault code or ideas why its not staring?

Thanks!

Hi Mobi

Sounds like an immobiliser problem. (Faulty immobiliser communication to BSI/ECU)

Have you had any work done on the car or keys recently before the fault appeared?

Time to dig out the security card from the handbook folder if its going to citroen for diagnosis.

Have you done anything after getting this problem, like checking all the fuses etc

Thanks C3Driver52, No work done to the Car or keys, parked in a shopping centre car park, came back wouldn't start. I'll check those fuses thanks.
