Hi I have a C3 1.4 8v
First it has an anti-pollution fault on dash
then I have a misfire on 4
replaced coil pack new plugs cleaned injectors and added current to make them squirt 3 jets.
replaced oxygen sensor 1 and 2
changed round plugs
changed round injectors
still miss fire on 4 scratch head
stuck screwdriver on all injectors all tapping/ticking bar number one
or is that number 4 looking at the car from the front to the back standing in front of engine bay
is the left drivers side number 1 or number 4 as someone pointed out today it might be
tried cleaning the MAF sensor but my car doesn't have one so ended up cleaning the MAP sensor
Checked ecu for water by battery and ecu which is fine
p1340 is camshaft sensor but my car does not have one
HELPPPPPPPPPPPPPP any advice would be great
Ta
Rich
how can I test the wires back to the ecu Maybe?
misfires on 4, P1340, anti-pollution fault on dash

Please have a look here:
Leaking washer jets causes damage to fuel injector on the C3
I had this washer-jet-problem with my C3 II (2008), which has been supposed to have already the new washer-jets. I had the injector changed which is on the outside (farthest from motor, nearest to door). Sorry, not so fit with speaking English, better reading.

On a cheap OBD-tester I got these faults then:
P 0204 (Injectors circuit misfunction - Cylinder 4) - I try to translate-
P 1336 (laut Internetrecherche: 'Starke Verbrennungsaussetzer an mehreren Zylindern')
and then
P 0300 (more cylinders misfires found).

P 1336 (According to Internet research: 'Strong combustion misfire on several cylinders')dougine wrote:P 1336 (laut Internetrecherche: 'Starke Verbrennungsaussetzer an mehreren Zylindern')
also a generic P1336 code for Citroen is
Crank/Cam sensor range/performance
Ignition System Misfire Detected
If you wanted a more specific description, try this lexia connected to a windows 7 32 bit computer.

Cheers all
It kinda fixed it self then went bad again 4 days after driving like a dream.
This time it was night time and was getting same symptoms but saw the manifold pipe after the cat I think was glowing bright red from heat
then while talking to the recovery guy and it running like a peace of sh it jumped back to running perfectly again and smooth
so he followed me home and as I approached the drive way it started again. hmmmmm
suspecting cat
misfire on 1 now and not 4 and 02 oxygen sensors error hi voltage I think
need to go look some more
scratching my head
cheers all

This is caused by excessive fuel being burnt in the Cat. So suspect the injector is delivering too much fuel that the engine can combust and it gets dumped into the exhaust system.
