In the fuel tank, doesn't get changed, lasts the life of the engine.

I would check for codes with cheap OBD2 reader from here, it may pinpoint the fault more clearly rather than just changing parts on a whim.

fault code reader for engine faults and misfires
fault code reader for engine faults and misfires
KW808 OBD2 engine fault reader for the C3

As Arfur suggests, fault codes may shed light, also:-

What engine, age and mileage?

Do any warning lights appear on the dash (do the warning lights work)?

Is this a new problem?

If it is new, did it happen suddenly or come on gradually?

Does it make any difference if the engine is hot or cold?
If at first you don't succeed, destroy all the evidence and pretend you never tried

Do this for P0120:
Check the TPS connector (just cut off the connector and solder the wires together instead) which is in the passenger footwell, where the TPS would be on a left hand drive car.

Just done mine, the plug is quite high up in the (passenger) foot well behind the cover.
Mine was fixed to a bracket with a push on clip.
Hope this helps
