Hi
New to this Citroen stuff.
I have a 1.6 16v vtr petrol c3 and have a slight misfire at low revs and uneven tickover.
Rather than change everything 1 by 1, has anyone in the Croydon ( cr0)area got lexia and is willing to do a check to maybe see what is the problem?
Thank you
Keith

Because yours is a petrol on 2006 it will also work with a OBD2 reader. These generic OBD2 readers are much cheaper than a lexia and can be useful for engine problems. They are no way near as useful as a lexia, but it may just give you a code that can identify where to look if a suitable lexia is not forthcoming.
Try this link to a generic OBD2 reader on Amazon.co.uk that will read 2006 C3 engine misfire codes.

You can also find it on ebay - click here for the AL319

Hi
Thanks for that, I will be getting lexia but at the moment I have a mac book and the misses has win 10, I will need to get a cheap laptop with xp on, and then get the program and leads I need.( eBay no doubt)
Will see if I get anyone near me with lexia first, but thanks again.

No problem. You can't beat owning your own lexia to use at any time and for as long as you need for live data, not starting or just fault reading at service time.Keithw wrote:Hi

There is some reading about lexia that may be of use to you (here).

Quick update,
I bought the Autel al319,found no fault codes at all, cleaned throttle body, checked and cleaned the throttle cable joint under the glove box, and cleaned the throttle pedal out with electrical cleaner. No difference at all, still missing slightly and tick over still erratic.
I have access to another car with the same engine, so tomorrow I am going to swap everything I can over one by one and see if I can sort this out.
Anything else that I could check ?
Thank you
