Bought another c3 and hooked it up to lexia, checked diagnostic and the only fault is in injection. Cannot erase so any help appreciated. Also the same as other c3 no dialogue for power steering ecu

If the problem is common to your lexia you may need to update the diagbox/lexia version?00James00 wrote:Also the same as other c3 no dialogue for power steering ecu
Later cars need later versions of lexia to communicate fully.

You can't erase a permanent fault and you get warned of this, but yours is a temporary fault so I would suggest you are not following the correct procedure to delete codes?
Your temporary fault may just be a one off, so I would concentrate on clearing the code and see if it ever comes back - it may never return.

Hi arfur
Yeah I attempted to clear the temp fault I few times it takes me to the after sales zone must be completed, I complete it and then it states communication interruption during fault erasing procedure screen and it's still there

In regards to the power steering ecu I tried the newest diagbox but still no dialogue. I did see in the most recent mot in advisory it states minor leak in exhaust. Could this have something to do with it

The parts of the exhaust system Lexia can read are the O2 sensors, these could be affected if the exhaust system has leaks but only if the leaks are upstream of the sensors. Anything in the back sections of the exhaust won't be detected or affect Lexia. If it's only advisory anyway it's unlikely to be anything significant.
It's a while since I used Lexia for resetting codes but from memory I remember something about setting dates? It records the date when a reset was carried out so if it's not set up correctly Lexia will object.

If at first you don't succeed, destroy all the evidence and pretend you never tried
