hi all been having a few problems with charge issues
just had a refurbished alternator delivered out and want to swap it over
but havent got a clue what bits to loosen up to remove the damn thing
please give me a few pointers

There are several different engines and each has slightly different mounting bolt numbers and locations but they all follow the same sort of procedure.
Disconnect the battery - most important.
Disconnect the electrical connections from the alternator and remove the wiring loom from the alternator,
Remove the drive belt, remove the drive belt idler or tensioner,
If you have a/c you may need to remove the a/c compressor mounting bolts (but keep the pipes connected) and move the compressor out of the way to allow access to all the bolts that hold the alternator on.
