Hi owenruss,
Do you have the year and model of your C3 please.
The "Info Auto Locking Active" message normally indicates that the auto lock button has been pressed which will cause the doors to lock when the car reaches a pre set (slow) speed. A sort of anti-car jacking system.
Non starting could be due to a flat battery, lack of fuel and anything in between.
Some more information about the steps you take to start the engine and the results you get from each step would help.

1) 2006 1.4 petrol desire model
2) I had already ready run the car with no problems fifteen minutes earlier
3) Unlocked car, jumped in started engine which spun fast but no wouldn't fire. Looked at screen display and it said, Info Auto Lock active, which I have never seen before.
4) The battery is good and petrol is half full.
5) I tried my other key and it still won't fire up but engine spins fast.
6) Has the car immobbilised itself?
Ta.

Hi owenruss, thanks for getting back so quickly.
I think you may be right, computer type problem or some sensor that's gone bad.
You could try resetting the BSI computer to see if it makes any difference, other than that, its hunt for the needle in the haystack time. (Use a Lexia scanner or possibly an OBD2 scanner to search for DTC or 'Diagnostic Trouble Codes' to see why its not firing)
This is the procedure to reset the Citroen C3 BSI
