Front exhaust hanger bracket snapped off

Hi, I have a 2015 mk2 C3 1.2 vti (I think)
Heard a strange noise and when I looked underneath I saw that the exhaust hanger in front of the centre box had corroded and seperated from the exhaust pipe, has anyone managed to repair this without replacing the exhaust, seems like a poor design to me tbh

It's interesting to hear the failed exhaust hangers are still there for Citroen

It was traditionally the rear hanger that would fail on the older models, but it sounds like the design flaw has made its way to the newer models and edged up front.

For the older models a replacement hanger with a strap was produced and that worked quite well.


But I don't know if they have on for the front hanger on newer models yet.
