If you want a proper scan that gives you the full code (and not just part of it that you have), use the lexia clone tool It is easy to use, but does take a bit of setting up to get going.
The lexia will tell you what each code means for each fault code.
You should diagnose codes with a symptom of driving, power, fuel consumption, smoke etc.
Just listing codes won't get you anywhere.
The best way to deal with the diagnostic codes when fault finding is to read them, note them down and then delete them.
Re-reading the codes after a run or indication of the fault will only give you the latest, most fresh and relevant codes.
This can give you a much shorter list to work through and bypasses all the codes that are no longer relevant.
