Hi all
I have been told I need to replace a faulty ecu on my c3 1.4 petrol 8valve 54 plate
I just want confirm that i get the correct parts for it
as i understand i need the ecu,bsi unit (is the bsi unit the one inside the car in glove box?) ,keys and key surround is this correct?
i have seen some of these for sale used on eBay from the same model but not all of the numbers on the ecu are the same is this a problem?
also will i need the lexia tool to alter ecu after fitting
second picture is original ecu
sorry for all the questions but just want to make sure i do it right
faulty ECU change ?

You will need BSI (fuse box in glovebox), the engine ECU and the keys.
You will also need lexia because the BSI will need reconfiguration to your car and not the donor.
One from the same year will give more chance of a reliable result and definitely don't cross the face-lift 2006 model line.

thanks for the reply C3CAR
that's great so the numbers don't have to fully match like the ones in the picture
wasn't sure that's all
ill have a look for an ecu kit now thats a similar year and model then
cheers Dave

Not all the numbers will match.
S2PM-380 and the same year will be a good match for success.
