02 1.4 petrol backbox is badly rusted and with the mot coming up it needs to be replaced. It does not connect to a centre section as it connects directly to the cat converter around the front seats position. Going to go the scrapyard to look for one but there are not many 1.4's about so any chance the 1.1 or 1.4 diesel would have the same backbox.

Interestingly the 1.1 petrol is not listed with a centre box, only a back box. Where as the 1.4 petrol has the centre and back box.

The 1.4 diesel has the cat in a different location and has a flexy section at the front, you will also find Diesels often have a much bigger bore pipe for the exhaust system.

I would suggest you get the right part that should be fitted to your model, have a look at Euro Car Parts for exhausts for your model.
