C3 1.4 8Valve. Re the evaps selonoid fitted near the rocker cover. How can the wiring be disconected from this switch as it seems to be an all in one unit, making replacement difficult.

I don't know if you have anything special fitted but they are usually connected by a plug and the socket is part of the body of the valve.alsie2 wrote:C3 1.4 8Valve. The part number of the Evap Solenoid is 1628.7G which can be found for sale here on eBay (click)
You can add an avatar to your account - Avatar or change your vehicle details - Car Bio or even add a signature to your posts - Signature. But this is not all you can do in the User Control Panel

Thanks for the pics, the one shown differs in detail from mine. I managed to cure related problem of stalling after refueling by (stand back ) spraying 3 in one oil into the valve. A bit severe but car now runs better than ever at eight years old. ( lets hope it lasts )
