Hi Guys,

I have an 2010 C3 1.4 16v Petrol Exclusive, other day when driving at a constant 50-60mph I had the Engine too hot STOP light come on.

Stopped called Greenflag, put reader on it and diagnosed at no reading from coolant temperature sensor.

So today I changed the Sensor on top of the thermostat house and replaced coolant, everything seemed to be fine until I went constantly above 50mph for a few mile came back on but went off after about 5 mins.

Has anyone had this problem and what should I look at replacing next?

Remove the connectors at the engine ECU and check the electrical contacts for corrosion.

Has the over temp indication come back on since?
