Hi and thanks no I've not changed the green sensor as I wasn't sure if it was this one or the blue one on the side off engine that is causing the fault I started the car after sitting off for 4 hrs and the warning comes up still so I take it one of these sensors are faulty how to test which one it is or bite the bullet and buy both but I'm still worried there isn't water in the radiator as top hose feels soft and no heat in either radiator pipes

Hi there ive not changed the sensor yet as this fault only happened after I bridged out the sensor do c3 electronics store and show faults as I think I've tripped the cpu by bridging the switch out or do I just change the sensor as when sensor wired up and I start the car cold the fault comes up then goes away and only the coolant light on thanks everyone for the help

There is no blue sensor on this model so it's the green one on the thermostat housing or if you triger faults do they need taken of with a fault analyser as I know have a engine overheat and a pollen filter fault as I disconnected the other green plug at sensor blocks the pollen filter and the gearbox lamp is now on the dash thanks again everyone
