Hey guys wondering if anyone can help me, I have a citreon c3 1.4 on an 03 plate, the other day my engine management light came on out of the blue and my car went into limp mode, I have plugged in a diagnostic tool and had 6 codes come up these being: p0220, p1631, p0115, p1280, p1152, p1020. A friend looked and thinks it maybe that the car has over heated as engine management light went off after car cooled down for a few hours.

Best thing to do with codes is
1. Read them and write them down (done)
2. Try to clear the codes
3. Run the engine again - maybe a short drive.
4. Read the codes again.

The last read will give you the fresh set of codes (if any) because the ones in step 1 may be very old ones that are not relevant to this problem.
