Hi yes you can . I think it is in the injection part of the lexia settings , it says something like connect by wire . also you will have to change the abs settings . i have it wrote down somewhere if you have any problems .

The speed signal will need to be picked up from the gearbox sensor and not the ABS ECU, so that setting will need to be changed, but don't forget all the others from fog lights to the number of doors - if it comes from a pluriel.Bogwoppit32 wrote:Hi yes you can . HI Thank you both for your answers. I have just found out the ECU kit I was going to buy was of an automatic so I am looking for another one now. I will let you know how I get on? I dont really want to go down this road of replacing the ECU but the problem I have is my speedo doesnt work So I changed the clock that didnt work so I changed the speed sensor In the gearbox (As I dont have abs) Then I linked my lexia up and read the code and then my speedo worked for about 5 mins then stopped....so dont know what else to try....Any Ideas???? Thanks Mary

Can you diagnose the problem with lexia and see if there is any speed signal present when the car is moving?c-jay22 wrote:so dont know what else to try....Any Ideas???? Thanks Mary
If there is no signal, then the speed sensor is probably faulty or there is a bad connection in the plug. You would then look for a signal with a meter on the wires for the speed sensor to further prove or disprove.
