Hi

My car refuses to start.
I was travelling along doing about 30mph when it suddenly stopped, never to start again.
Petrol is being pumped so I am thinking Immobiliser/ECU/BSI.
I only have one key so, I cannot try the other one.
To be honest I haven't a clue what is wrong with it but if I knew the problem I would get it fixed.

I am asking if there is anyone in the Alcester B49 area that has a Lexia tool that can come and help a dumb blonde in distress.

Thanks
Dawn

Hi Dawn,

If its an immobiliser, then yes, you will need lexia. BUT, start with the cheap and easy stuff first.

You can use a cheap OBD reader (click here) to read for things like crank sensor error (you get similar symptoms to immo as you do for crank sensor).

You may even have a blown fuse in the BSI (glove box) or BSM (engine bay). You can find out about the fuse box locations by clicking here and the link also contains more links to the fuse ratings for the various C3 models and years.

Keep the forum updated for more help please :)
You can add an avatar to your account - Avatar or change your vehicle details - Car Bio or even add a signature to your posts - Signature. But this is not all you can do in the User Control Panel :)

Any other ideas?
