Ok for the last week since the really cold weather started - the car starts no problem but when pulling away the engine will splutter as if it is going to stall for about 5 seconds - 10 seconds and then everything is fine and drives perfect.
Anyone else had the problem or any ideas?

Hi craigh
Could be the coil pack, and that high tension department, plugs, etc. Cold weather will bring out all the faults that are on the borderline of appearing. You can check for diagnostic codes using a cheap OBD reader from ebay which may help point you in the right direction, but if you have lexia tool use that.craigh wrote:Ok for the last week since the really cold weather started - the car starts no problem but when pulling away the engine will splutter as if it is going to stall for about 5 seconds - 10 seconds and then everything is fine and drives perfect.

Thanks had a new coil pack and plugs a few months back so it shouldn't be them.
