Hi C3Safari, I have been following your thread with great interest as I have a bad starting C3 1.4 petrol which, like yours, seems to like a warm day to start! My son discovered that disconnecting the green temperature sensor next to the air filter when the engine was warm, caused the rough idling to disappear? My original codes seemed to target the crankshaft sensor which I replaced and did make a slight difference - it would now start from cold after five attempts. I found that spraying a little brake cleaner into the air filter before the throttle body caused it to start first time. Then spraying the brake cleaner (dodgy) around the injectors caused the engine to rev and die. So I replaced all the injector seals - patience is a virtue - eliminating all air leaks. However, the bad starting still persists. I have found that holding the accelerator pedal down then turning on the ignition for one second before firing the engine improves the chances of starting - Haynes manual. So have you made any progress with your 'C£'? Cheers.
