Hi all im a new member and I have recently just bought a citroen C3 1.4 8v 53 plate 40k old model.
The clutch has just started to slip and I was gonna have a go changing it my self.
Just wanted some advice on any problems and pitfalls with this. and any advice on whats best type of clutch plate to fit. I think the pedal is really high these so is the a better clutch I can fit that would give a lower biting point.

Hi manparisuk
All the clutches give the same bite point as its a self adjusting system, but any new clutch will help the bite point if your plate is worn.
We have a discount code for Euro Car Parts clutch kits, click here and use the code C3OWNER at the checkout. They have a good deal for the clutch kit for Valeo, Transmech and LUK.
Remove the battery and the air intake pipes.
The gear selector cable will need to be disengaged from the gearbox and you give the white bits a squeeze to disengage them.
The salve cylinder will need to be disconnected so clamp off the flexible clutch pipe with a brake hose clamp before its separated.
The release bearing in the kit may have a slightly different look to the original as its been modified, but that is fine.
Fit the pressure plate with the marking 'gearbox side' towards the gearbox.
There are no major pitfalls that I am aware of, good luck!
