I am sure you can fit one, I doubt its going to make a huge difference to the car, but bear in mind the more parts you change from the citroen specifications, the more likely the ECU/BSI is going to try to compensate for your changes to the intake set up.Can I put on a universal vent filter to replace the breather pipe to the air filter?
Breather filter available here
I am not sure of the size you need to fit the breather stub, but they come in a variety of sizes to fit different pipes.

A photo of the finished job would be nice to finish off this post

Hi Dominic1210
I finally got round to finding some pictures, its always easier to explain in pictures I think.
Here is my suggestion:
The junction marked 'A' is the breather pipe, its going to need a small bit of work to make them join up. I am thinking of finding a bit of pipe that fits into the breather pipe connection and the silicone hose, something like this
(but measure your breather hose internal diameter to get the right part, or measure the outside diameter of the stub the the breather hose connects to)
The junction marked 'B' will require a silicone coupler like one of these (there is a huge choice of sizes to get a perfect fit: silicone couplers on eBay
