I gave my buddy a jumpstart, but since then my car would not start.
Charged the battery and checked all fuses.
All the lights work when turning the ignition but when I start it just makes a click sound
Car won't start

Hello CarlJaftha
Your symptoms sound like a flat battery to me. You say you charged the battery, have you checked that it's OK using a proper battery tester?
If the battery is in good state then have a look at the battery connections, make sure they are all clean and sounds, also check the earth lead at the body end and if you can, the starter connections.
This could be an issue with the starter but as everything started after giving a jump start, the electrics would seem like the logical place to start diagnosing.
One final question, if you put the headlights on, are they bright and do they dim when you try to crank the engine?

If at first you don't succeed, destroy all the evidence and pretend you never tried
