Hi Jojo2012

The codes do refer to the readings seen by the ECU that are referenced to the Manifold Air Pressure sensor.

But, the presence of the codes do not necessarily point the finger at the MAP unit.

The errors are 'readings out of range' and this can be cause by a wiring fault to the sensor, a leak or blockage to the air flow that is measured or a problem with the ECU.

The C3 is known for problems with electrical connectors and just removing and refitting the plug/socket can clear faults.

If you want to dig a bit deeper, they way I would go is to look at 'live data' from the sensor (if your OBD reader can do that). You will get an idea of how the sensor is performing.

Not start?

Does it turn over?

No codes? Got fuel?

Hi thank for that I appreciate it and with the new sensor it will not start at all but replace it with the old one and it will then start again and do the usual 10 seconds and cuts out it's got half a tank of petrol but a bit in as I put some redex in to clear it all out

If you want to diagnose this, check you have the right part, check it not damaged and then read the codes with it in.

If you want to diagnose this, read the codes that are stored for cutting out.

If your code reader doesn't cut it, try the proper lexia tool on it.

You may have introduced an extra fault with
new spark plugs coil pack it's had a new crank shaft sensor
can you put the old ones back in?
