A few weeks ago the abs light came on on my 2009 C3 VTR so I took it to my local garage. They said it was a faulty sensor and replaced it. However since then my car won't start first time and my dashboard clock keeps resetting to zero and the default date (the windscreen wipers also go on). This has never happened before. I have taken it back to the garage twice and they have disconnected the battery and reset the clock but the problem continues. Any ideas what could be causing this? Thanks.

Does it just keep turning over?

Does it not turn over and you need to turn the key again to start?

Could be a poor earth connection or battery connection. Check the battery terminals are clean and the connections are tight.

I don't know how this could be connected, but if the wipers are in the ON position and the battery keeps disconnecting maybe they are reacting to that.

Maybe it should go to a different garage?

To check the battery connections and the actual battery to see if its holding charge.
