Hello everybody, I am new to the forum!

My 06 C3 desire was struggling to start when turning the ignition key. The starter motor would engage but I have to dip the accelerator for it to catch. I changed the starter motor but still nothing, I have change MAF valve, had a full service and just fitted new spark plugs and coil but it's still the same, if not worse! The car sometimes catches but only just and then the idle revs correct itself. I have also noticed when the car is in idle the engine doesn't keep a steady revs, it loses revs and then rights itself! Any ideas guys?
Thanks
Sam

I don't see the relevance of the starter motor if it turns the engine over quickly.

You can check for error codes with a cheap OBD2 reader and check for vacuum leaks.

If the problem is worse after work, it may be something is loose or damaged and the work done has disturbed it more.
