Hi !
I hope someone can answer me at these question:
Question : Is it possible to remove the EEPROM 95160 from at partly damaged BSI and solder/mount it in a new(used) BSI and resolve the immobilizer problem.
(After browsing the web I understands that the immobilizer data are saved in the EEPROM 95160, but maybe I'm wrong)?
Thanks for your interest !

ST95160 does make an appearance in the C3 BSI. But I don't know if the data in the eeprom is also stored in an alternative location (backup) or if swapping them over will be sufficient. It will be good to hear how it goes if you have a go.
You could repair the faulty BSI, or swap the ECU and BSI from a similar year, with similar specification and make any amendments with lexia which may be easier?

You can add an avatar to your account - Avatar or change your vehicle details - Car Bio or even add a signature to your posts - Signature. But this is not all you can do in the User Control Panel

Hi !
Of note: I have changed eeprom95160 from a BSI(1) to another BSI(2) with the result that eeprom95160 data was deleted.
This work is NOT recommended.......
