Hi, i have a 2003 c3 1.4 with 65k , i have just had the timming belt renewed and this morning i had the battery warning light show while driving (around 30mph) for 20 seconds or so when it eventually went out ,i have since been out to the car were i started it and switched a lot of electrical equipment on and no sign of warning light, now i know a warning light is a warning light but just after nearly £200 for timing belt i am hoping its not a new battery and alternator just yet....no sign or noise of belt slipping etc, would a electrical check on the battery and alternator show up and pinpoint the problem or is their a common issue with the C3 with this, any help would be apreciated .Thanks

If you are worried a load test on the battery and charge test on the alternator could put you mind at rest.

Batteries don't last for ever and cold weather puts the most stress on a failing battery. Euro Car Parts are worth checking for prices.

Personally, I would wait and see if you get the 'no charge' warning again, if its just a one off, no need to worry.

is their a common issue with the C3 with this
There are some mentions of charge problems due to the alternator output electrical connection getting corroded on the C3.
