Hi untied30
Trouble with air bags is they are quite dangerous if the go off when unintended while you are inspecting plugs and sockets etc. You must disconnect the battery while working with the air bag circuit.
I would suggest you visit Citroen or any auto electrician that you trust with your car. Its going to be an electrical type of problem rather than an mechanical one, so you don't need a grease monkey, you need a technician with a computer and some test equipment.
There is a disconnection in the drivers air bag electrical circuit, like a plug/socket not making a good contact. As halfords says, it will need investigating, which would firstly be a visible inspection of the plugs/sockets and the wiring. My airbag light won't go off. Thank you for the information. i won't be touching it myself anyway as no good with cars lol.
I'm taking it back to Halfords who going to look at it for me and hopefully fix the problem.
Thank you for giving me more information.
