Would a problem with my seat belt set the airbag light off? Had the airbag light on for a while and now have changed the seat belts at the front but light didn't go off, so i took it to halford who inform me the its still to with the driver side selt belt, i thought that there no electal in the seat belt so wouldn't be a fault on the air bag?
Any Idea?
Thanks

A problem with the seat belt pre tensioner would light the air bag light, but not the actual belt itself.
What prompted you to change the seat belt? was it worn? did the pre-tensioner get changed too (if yours C3 has one?)
I would imagine Halfords have connected up a diagnostics computer to your car and the reported fault indicates that there is 'seat belt pre tensioner' or 'seat belt engaged' fault showing.
Did you get any print outs from halfords? They should have given you the error codes detected, as these are useful to know to further diagnose the problem.
Quite often these problem as due to connector faults, rather then a faulty air bag or pre-tensioner.
