2015 facelift C3 1.2 Puretech.

Just went out to change my oil and filter but didn't get any further than the lower engine cover, all but two of the bolts are rusted solid and are twisting the plastic cover rather than coming loose, have sprayed liberally with wd40 as best as access allows and will try again tomorrow but if that hasn't helped any suggestions ?

Thanks

Some of the fixings are a self tapping type of screw thread and some are quarter turn quick release clips

The quarter turn clips never rust to the point they can't be undone,

Which ones are giving trouble?

These are the quarter turn ones

They all have 10mm hex head bolts, I think the ones you posted are perhaps later ones ?

There are seven of them btw, three along the front and two on each side.

Should I manage to get them loose do you think those ones you posted could be retro fitted in their place ?

Thanks

The ones I posted need a square hole to mount in, so if yours are in a square hole, they may well fit.

Can you PM me the VIN please and I will see if I can get some diagrams of the parts you have fitted.

I think I sent you a pm ?

Confused as I was just looking at a new undertray on ebay that is the same as the one fitted yet when I put in my cars details it states that it won't fit, I think my car is one of the very last facelift models and I think the brand new C3 came out in the same year as mine was registered ?

Thanks

Thank you very much for taking the time to give me all that info, it's greatly appreciated.
That diagram doesn't seem to show the three bolts along the front edge of the cover, I'm going to get the car up on ramps and try an impact driver on them, will post here on any progress.

Thanks

Update, managed to get the fixings off using a manual impact driver following daily soakings for a week with WD40, have ordered new clips and stainless steel bolts/washers, will be sure to apply copper grease to them.

Thanks
