hi all,
i am looking to get a complete exhaust system for the above car, i have tried the usual suppliers online (europarts, kwikfit etc) and seem to be as rare as hens teeth.
anybody had this problem? i wanted just the parts and fit it myself but at the right price i could have it fitted
i live in Northamptoshire

Hi Danny.

It a bit early for the replacement systems to be built for such a late model. Exhaust systems go on and on. Even as they get old, its the back box that gets replaced.

Is there a problem with your current exhaust system?

I would say your best bet for the parts is Citroen.

Citroen call the back box:
16 087 243 80
REAR SILENCER
PSA 4358

and the centre box:
16 087 238 80
EXHAUST INTERMEDIATE PIPE
PSA 4356

Which is nice that they come in 2 parts. Earlier cars were one piece that needed cutting to fit the replacement back box on.

thanks for your reply Arfur,
at the mot in march the centre bracket had corroded, we managed to mig it, the rest of the system looked a bit worse for wear (4 years old). i suffer from ill health and i got the car to last me for the duration, i only do about 1000 miles/year, my thinking was to do everything now while i am still able to.
again, thanks for your help,....Danny
