Hi all,
I'm trying to determine the correct engine oil for my 07 1.1 C3. It has covered around 110,000 miles.
I've looked on Euro car parts but are more than one type?
I've seen a recommended oil is Total Quartz 10-40w synthetic oil, but is there anything else?
Car does roughly 15,000 miles a year on motorways.
Thanks.

Hi

The other choice for the petrol engines is the semi-synthetic total 7000, available here (amazon}

The fully synth 9000 is more expensive and necessary for the diesels but a luxury for the petrols.

Thanks, the 9000 fully syn, is that 5w-40?
Lastly, how many litres will I require?
(I don't plan on doing myself)
Much appreciated.

Yes the 9000 is fully syn , ideal for the diesels and good for petrols if you want to extend their service, but there are better options for extended oil changes with the new oils from total.

9000 comes in 5w40 but there are other temperature ranges for that oil. Pick a different one depending on the country you are in (the expected temperature range)
