What tool do I need to remove an injector?

If you have a 1.4 8v (Eight Valve) is uses Bosch injectors. If you click this link you can find Bosch injector seals.

If you have a 1.4 16v (Sixteen Valve) it uses Delphi injectors. You can click here for Delphi washers.

The 16v engine should have a cover that looks like this
Hi I have the same engine and I am looking to remove the injectors at the weekend.

Do I need a 17mm Crows Spanner or can I just use a normal 17mm spanner to loosen the injector nuts?

Or am I mistaking the union nut for the injector nut.

Is the injector nut at the bottom by the clamp?

Hi midiman,

You can undo the high pressure pipe to injector with an open-ended spanner, the crows foot is used to attach a torque wrench to torque the high pressure pipe to injector up when it all goes back together.

The injector clamp is a hex head socket and a ball ended allen key works well for that.
