Hi, can anyone help me just bought 2004 c3 1.4HDI i have engine/exhaust fumes coming into the car traced it to a bodge job previous owner tried to cover it with egr blanking plate and filled with sealant, ive cleaned it all and removed the plate and found a circular type out let with 2 screws can anyone tell me what part it is and what if anything should connect to it? the location of the part is rear of engine on the left next to what looks like a black balloon thing? Thanks :cry:

I don't have that engine, but it looks like it could be one end of the EGR pipe? Is the EGR pipe that runs behind the engine still there?

Your balloon thing is the diesel fuel system hand priming pump :)
