1.4 hdi 16v

I need to replace the outlet pipe that comes out from the turbo compressor, up then across the front of the engine and down into the rubber hose that goes into the intercooler.

The threaded bolt mount has began to crack through and is barely holding the pipe on. They aren't easy to find - certainly none on the usual . But the 1.6 pipe is fairly similar looking.

Does anyone know if the pipe from the 1.6 will fit or is it a trip to the dealer to get a replacement??

Turbo outlet plastic pipe- part number 1.4 16v HDi
Turbo outlet plastic pipe 1.4 16v HDi
Turbo outlet plastic pipe 1.4 16v HDi

The 1.4 16v HDi turbo outlet pipe is called 'Intake Air resonator' with part number 1440.36

the 1.6 16v model has a similar part and Citroen call it 'Turbo noise reducer' with part number 0383.54, then later in 2008, it changed to 0383.51.

Different part numbers means different part, but I don't know if you cold make it fit

Note to anyone looking into this pipe.

After a trip to the dealers it turns out the pipe in question is a part that's no longer in manufacture. And not available in citroens system of stock holding.

Back to the auction sites.
