I have had the C3 for 4 years, its an amazing car, it is the 1.6 e-hdi 115. However, its always been prone to switching its fan on (even when its like -2 outside), and the engine is not warm. Only way to sort that out is rev it hard for a couple of mins, at speed. NOW, the start stop has decided it is only going to work 1 in 5 times. The engine is warm/hot, its not that cold, the lights are off, normally it works within about a min of the car starting - today wouldn't work atall. Yesterday it worked a few times, and then wouldn't have any of it!!

Does anyone have any ideas? I don't really wanna take it to my mechanic and say fix, and then get billed 3 hours labour and the prob might not even be fixed, when it could be something I could sort......soooo I thought i would ask you nice people first!
