Hi.
Please can anyone advise? I went out to start my C3 (2008 1.6 HDi) today; and all I am getting when turning the key is a click that appears to emanate from the glove box . I have checked (what I feel are) the relevant fuses. The battery is fully charged and have even attempted to jump the battery just in case. All the lamps are bright and working. The car was last used just four days ago with no obvious issues. Any ideas welcomed.
Many thanks.

For a manual car the ignition switch is connected directly to the starter.
So either the starter is faulty or MaxiFuse #7 has blown.
Maxi Fuse #7 provides power to a lot if the electronics so if the dash ETC are working it wont be that.
If you can hear a loud "clicking" coming from behind the engine when the key is turned to start, It's probably worn brushes in the starter.
If not, a stuck/damaged solenoid.

200,000 miles sounds like it is the starter.
Is that the original starter?
