Can you add a picture of yours please?

The top of the strut is locked in position by the peg the can be seen in the pictures below.

The bolt keeps the spring on the strut.

It looks like your top mounts are worn,
Top mount kit with bearing and nut
Top mount kit with bearing and nut
Get a top mount bearing from here (eBay).

You can see the parts you need in the picture above. But, it may be worth changing the springs and dampers at the same time because they will need to be removed anyway and they do wear out and it will all have to come off the car anyway.

You can pick up the top mount kit from euro car parts (click here), and they will also do the springs and dampers (don't forget a new strut protection kit (eBay) if yours is looking past it's best.)

Citroen C3 front suspension strut parts diagram, you can see the parts listed above in the diagram below

One of your struts:

Has the wrong nut holding it together, which is always a good sign things have been tampered with (you get a new nyloc nut with the kit)

Yes from what I can see the tire wear is equal but the whole car shakes as I accelerate at around 80km/h

That could easily be your cause. I would imagine the steering would shake at speed and cornering at speed to be hair raising. I am a bit surprised about your tyre wear, but maybe in a few more 1000kms it may start to show up, particularly in the very difficult to see, extreme inside edge of each tyre.

If you are going to do the struts, it may also be necessary to do the lower ball joint and the track control ends because these may need replacing while the car is having its suspension repaired.

Be careful with the springs, there a topic with some information about the C3 springs here
